I’ll give you $1 if you can show me a “just”

I attended a conference in January and Paul Martinelli got up on the stage, reached in his pocket and pulled out his money clip, and said “I’ll give this to anyone who can show me a Just. While I’m as confident as Paul is that there in no “just”, my wagering budget is a tad bid smaller than his.

I’ll bet one cold, hard, U.S. dollar that there in no Just

We hear “just do it”. Or, “just keep making those calls”, or the grand-daddy of them all “just fake it until you make it”.

Not even in a just world would there be a just.

When you’re asking questions and getting these types of answers you are most likely looking for advise on how to do something from someone that’s already done it. What they often forget is although they’ve done it they at one time did not know how to do it any more than you do right now. Vicious circle, eh?

When we are talking with our kids, our spouse, or our employees or downline please remember that they are looking for “how to“. This world is about teaching, whether business or personal. It’s about doing and then sharing how to do it so that someone else’s life is better. It’s about giving back.

What’s your teaching style? How do you empower your people instead of (possibly not knowingly) minimizing their questions? Let me know in the comments below!
